Thanks, Leah, I’m listening to the song as I write this. There was joy in abundance last weekend at Wellspring! At the drums, in the dance and the stories, and on the land. I had the sense from two of the stories we told that we can “dance into joy.” We don’t need to wait till we feel joyful before we dance. 😊
That feels right to me too, Julie. Dance, sing, drum, laugh, hug, listen our way into joy. I’m so happy for all who experienced the beautiful weekend retreat you all - and for sure the land- held so lovingly.
Love this so much, friend, especially your description of the dance under the trees. How I wish I could have been there! But VisionDrum was dancing its own dance Sunday afternoon, and so we connect, dance to dance, line to line, hand to hand, across time and distance.
I am reading The Book of Joy by the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and so much of what I am reading resonates with your words as well. <3 <3 <3

Thank you, Tracy! I love that we were dancing - spirits connected though physically apart. I know that you drum joy in abundance!!
